Good service and lovely surroundings. Food was pretty good, but a little pricey. I had the scallop tart and the chicken in ham. It's very hearty and with the weather (snowing) it was exactly what we needed. A bit more seasoning wouldn't go amiss.
The rest of the party had mushroom soup, pigeon, hake, skate and lamb. All good. I only tried the very nice soup which was, imho, also under seasoned. A comment from the group was "very nice, butter bills must be humongous". He had the skate.
Overall very nice though. Would go again and do recommend.
