Interlude restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.7
What a fantastic little gem.
We were super excited to experience Interlude after following Jean on GBM.
We started with a lovely little Sparkling wine tasting hosted by Simba Chitsato. The wine team were knowledgable and super friendly. Great to meet Ndosi who hails from my province KZN.
Then the super lunch in the gorgeous dining room. Very creative and technically perfect dishes with a South African influence, which as a South African, I greatly appreciated. Quite possibly the best fish course Ive ever eaten. Jean was there, to our delight, and such a warm host.
Only niggles we had on our table were, no offer to take our coats and nobody pulled out chairs at the table or offered napkins. Service details needed to get two stars, as the food is already exceptional.
We will absolutely be going back soon.
