Hare and Hounds restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.5
This place has been on my list for ages and it was insanely good. The food has definitely been the main character of the evening: bold, punchy flavours that give you a rustic feeling but at the same time very elegant. Those features should be, in my opinion, the reason to give Michelin stars to places like this one, and not just the bib gourmand nonsense. The highlights of the night was the venison and the souffle which were an absolute masterpiece. Lovely rustic feel to the interior but if I need to be picky, I felt the light could be a bit more diffused as the kitchen lights are very bright towards you. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to go back.
