Don't Tell Dad restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.6
OUTSTANDING - So glad to have discovered this bakery/restaurant. There wasn't a massive selection, but I think that's a good thing as it was already difficult to choose which indulgent treats to eat. We had the cinnamon roll, the quince and cardamom danish, and the savoury Jerusalem artichoke with garlic. All were amazing but the standout was the quince and cardomon - the cream was ridiculously good but the inside was a crunchy white waffle which took the whole danish to the stratosphere! The cinnamon was excellent and had what I believed to be a dollop of cream cheese based topping which is always a plus. The Jerusalem artichoke was perfectly flaky and every bite was scrumptious.
We brought home a plain croissant and pain au chocolate and they were fantastic (and white large, just as the other pastries were)
Coffees (cappuccinos) were great, and if we had one (minor) complaint they are on the smaller side.
Will definitely be back for more!
