Stayed for the night with dinner. The atmosphere here is just unbelievable, a little place out of time but with all comforts. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed is very comfortable.
Dinner was outstanding, from the starters (we had the trio of pates, very well presented and delicate, and the leek and bacon pie - which was sublime but could have made without the tomato sauce). We then had a very good sweet potato soup, and meat mains - an extremely tender pork roulade with a great chestnut sauce, and guinea fowl, which we also loved.
Desserts too were great, both the chocolate praline and the frozen citrus - delicate but definitely tasty, the perfect way to end the meal.
Liked that there were different options for half bottles of wine - the wine list isn't huge, but for such a small place it is probably not possible to have more.
Breakfast was great too - coffe, jam, marmalade and toast were great - full English is available too!
We definitely recommend this place - make sure you have the full b&b experience!
