Really lovely property with a great location, really nice rooms, a great bar and the most amazing staff. We discovered the Hotel by chance while visiting Scotland. Located on a Loch it’s a really mystical location which has been in the hands of the same family for a few hundert years. Since a few years they now also run it by themselves. Remembering that the stones of this building were set a few hinder years ago it’s in really good condition. Everything works and the rooms clearly have been renovated recently as have the bathrooms. Great views onto the lake from both of our rooms. While we did not have dinner at the hotel we checked out the bar during the later part of evening and as you would expect they have a very extensive whiskey selection and a great barman to advise you. The next morning we had a very tasty freshly prepared breakfast and I enjoyed the most creamy scrambled eggs with salmon. Unfortunately our daughter forgot her wallet in her room and we noticed this only a day late. The hotel was most helpful and send it to us immediately which was a huge relief. All in all- a great experience and highly recommended!
