New Year's Eve reservation for 3, ended up with 4. 15 minutes wait for them to find us a table, not bad considering the unexpected addition. Our table was against a window through which a very nice view of Saint Paul's Cathedral provided the backdrop to our meal.
The restaurant is black on black, soft yellow lighting, and wood block features throughout.
Drinks orders were taken quickly, but took longer than one would expect to arrive.
Meals were simple, but interesting. Portions were generous and the cooking itself is very good. Again, orders were taken promptly but food took much longer to arrive.
All in all, a very nice dining experience, but we were slightly underwhelmed at the calibre of service.
Would recommend.
