Average rating: 4
We came here for afternoon tea as part of a virgin experience days spa voucher. I was very impressed by how well they accommodated dietary requirements, my partner is sensitive to dairy but does eat meat and he was so glad to not just be given the vegan option.
Staff were incredibly friendly and were kind enough to give newt a little chocolate happy birthday (with vegan chocolate!)
I was really worried that afternoon tea wouldn’t be very filling but by the end we were both absolutely stuffed!!! The scones were delicious and warm and it was lovely to have generous amounts of both jam and lemon curd to top them with!
The selection of teas was delightful and everything we tried was delicious.
My only criticism is that we weren’t super clear on what drinks were and weren’t included and we would have appreciated the staff being clear about non-tap water costing extra
