The White Hart Inn

This boutique hotel was absolutely perfect for our small legal vows/wedding stay. We booked six rooms and it suited our group beautifully, especially as we had family members with mobility limitations - the first-floor rooms worked really well for them, while we had a stunning larger room at the top. There were also floor beds provided for any children who stayed, which made everything feel really flexible and well thought through. A special mention has to go to Tom, Jack and Jamie, along with all the staff, whose service was genuinely impeccable throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, any request we made was met quickly and with such care and ease. We truly felt looked after as special guests from start to finish. The rooms themselves were gorgeous; each one beautifully designed with its own character, all finished to a very high standard. The food was excellent, both at the pre- wedding meal the night before and at breakfast post wedding, which was particularly lovely. The cocktails were also outstanding and felt like real craft creations rather than just drinks. We were off site for the actual vows etc but we had the place to ourselves the night of the wedding and I’m sure they’d be very obliging to support larger groups holding private celebrations too. Overall, everything was handled with real attention to detail and warmth. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly for a special occasion stay.
