The Strathearn at Gleneagles restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.0
Very poor service for breakfast. Asked for water twice in the span of 25 minutes at which point had to go get it ourselves. Multiple tables next to us got served water within minutes of arriving. Asked for a capuccino, was brought an americano. I have a mile macadamia nut allergy but wouldn't be served anything with nuts in it despite being clear that cross contamination is fine.
Dinner wasn't much different. Food is unimpressive. Beef Wellington was pretty good but the service was slow and odd. Took 55 minutes for our starters to arrive. Rest of restaurants in the hotel are great, but this is a massive disappointment.
