We like the Palmerston because it is usually not jammed when we go, early evening, and the food quality is pretty good if not always great. They change their menu regularly which is nice, and there is always something on it that we like. Service could be a little more friendly. They looked hurried even when we were the only people in there. Prices are probably above average for a pub, but less than a restaurant so similar quality food. On the whole we like it and recommend it.
