Having read all the previous reviews I can only agree with them. My wife and I married there in 2002 and all our family and friends agree it was the best wedding they had ever been to.HOWEVER.We made a point of visiting the castle one last time when we heard it was closing. On arrival, we were told by a somewhat surly receptionist to go away as there was a private wedding on (no evidence of this as the bar and car park were empty). We said ok but could I use the toilet before I left to which she replied 'you can use the toilet then you go'. She then followed me to the toilet (In the deserted bar) in case I started snooping about the place.It's no wonder the place is closing when you employ staff with that level of people skills.Thank you Culcreuch for ruling the perfect memory of a perfect day.
