AA Guide Changes - 22/10/2017
Unlike many other UK and Ireland food guides, the AA Guide is constantly updated throughout the year. The AA Guide restaurant changes from around 22/10/2017 are detailed below. We list both increases and decreases in AA Rosette awards, as well as complete removals from the AA Guide.
AA Rosettes Increased
The AA continually inspects restaurants throughout the year. A restaurant can be awarded one or two AA Rosettes at any time, however three and four Rosettes are only awarded twice a year, and five Rosettes only once per year. The above table lists the restaurants that were awarded more AA Rosettes around the date specified.
AA Rosettes Decreased
Any restaurant that when inspected, is no longer deemed to meet the standards of a previous AA Rosette award, can have its AA Rosettes reduced at any time. This usually comes in the form of restaurants previously holding two AA Rosettes being reduced to one. The restaurants above had their AA Rosettes reduced around the date specified.

The above restaurants no longer appear in the AA Guide. This is most often due to restaurant closure, however the AA can remove any restaurant from their guide at any time if it no longer meets the required standards to be eligible for one or more AA Rosettes.
